    The Parks and Wildlife Commission of the NT (PWCNT) advises that the Tabletop Track walk in Litchfield National Park is now closed for the duration of the wet season and will be expected to open in June 2015 after Rangers have conducted fuel reduction burning.

    Desert chicks need your help to find a name

    Minister for Parks and Wildlife, Bess Price, is calling on members of the public to help name two Wedge-tailed Eagle chicks.

    "The Alice Springs Desert Park rescued two young eagle chicks after the pair's parent was involved in a territorial dispute with other eagles and was no longer able to look after its young," Mrs Price said.
