Work to bring cane-toad smart northern quolls back to Kakadu's Mary River district will take a major step forward this week when quolls are collected on Astell Island off the north-east Arnhem Land coast.
A team from the Territory Wildlife Park (TWP) is working with the Marthakal Rangers from Galiwin'ku, the Dhimurru Rangers from Nhulunbuy and scientists to collect up to 100 northern quolls from this Saturday 7 November.- Read More

The Country Liberal Government had funded a 5 kilometre path from Blain St to the Alice Springs Desert Park and then on to Flynn's Grave as part of their Alice Springs Paths Connectivity Project.
The 2.4 metres wide concrete pathway will take visitors "cross country" on parts of the greater area of the Alice Springs Desert Park. Currently visitors can access only the core area of the Park. By installing the new path it opens up areas that have previously been reasonably inaccessible. The path will provide beautiful open views of the MacDonnell Ranges.- Read More
